Iranian Freighter Crash lands, 1 survives

A Boeing 707 cargo plane belonging to Islamic Republic of Iran Air Force (IRIAF) has crashed in due to bad weather in Kara, west of the Iranian Capital,Tehran. 15 people have been reported killed of the 16 passengers on board.

The B707-300 freighter was flying in from Bishkek, Krygyzstan carrying a payload of beef until the Captain lost control of the Aircraft and it crashed into residential buildings close to Fath private Aerodrome with a very short operational runway.

The Aircraft overshot the runway crashing into residential buildings and then bursting into flames.

Only the Flight Engineer was found alive with no casualties reported on the ground.
